About

Author of A Flower for God, writing the journey of my spiritual awakening has been a fulfilling part of my life for over eighteen years, as I relived memories on paper that required my growth in between periods of writing.

My first experience with creative writing came with the adoption and birth of my daughters, where within family love I found inspiration to write poetry.

That beginning drew me to my longtime writing mentor, the late Pat Schneider, Founder of Amherst Writers & Artists. At her suggestion, I launched Longmeadow Writers & Artists, as I had rapport with both adult and youth writers, and a crisp ability to design creative exercises.

My next enriching opportunity was as an ordained Alliance of Divine Love minister with an Emotional Health intuitive counseling practice at Seraphim Center in Gainesville. With individuals, as well as groups, I reflected back my different views of issues, catalyzing first time perceptions that took them into growth in new areas. My office was organized, riotous colors of creative objects used to find metaphors to explore difficulties from a new angle.

My foundation...Avatar Meher Baba who "devoted his life to awakening humanity to the reality of Divine Love. He declared himself to be the ancient one and God to be the real Self within everyone. His Universal Message begins with the words, 'I have come not to teach but to awaken.'"

My joy in 2012 was completing a Certified Life Coach course which has as an important principle that each person knows the perfect solution to their desired goals. I’ve found pleasure in learning better ways to listen, motivate and support through open questions so a person can uncover what changes in life matter and how to get them.

"Purely Prema" was envisioned by my daughter Megan as a means of continuously sharing my craft. I thank my daughter as I look forward to the time I sit down to write my thoughts and feelings in short studies, from my world to yours.
