Realizations
~ Aging ~
Forgiving is about forgetting and finding within our wholeness. Life gives us opportunities to learn forgiveness and to have time in practice.
While in outer appearance and cultural behavior, differences appear to be many, in truth, we may find there is a bonding, one to another, from ever-deepening friendship and more and more frequent acts of helpfulness.
There may be forces at work in our lives beyond our knowledge. The opportunity exists to always be kind to ourselves, no matter what discouragement may assail us, as there will come a time of understanding, acceptance, and forgiveness.
Every moment we are growing and changing, and the past is no longer our home in time. The present moment is where we are meant to be.
Fear that causes us to react within the world of creatures can mature to a more thoughtful view of our humanity in relationship with them.
~ Emotion ~
A thought produces emotions that align with it. When they are distressing, it is the thought as the source that needs to be examined and re-cast. Then the emotions naturally change.
Sadness comes and stays or leaves according to how we treat it.
When we remember God as our source, we receive comfort, stability, and strength to face what happens to us. We become as a team to slake the fear that arrives so easily.
One way we understand others is to have had the experience ourselves, preferably ameliorating our response from what we’ve learned with our own behavior.
Appropriate sadness softens us so what we understand and say to a person can be supportive of change, and open dreams of possibility.
We can look at people who have more or people who have less. Optimism is gratitude for what we have.
~ Grief ~
We are born, spirit into a body. We live until our body joins the earth. And spirit again is our form. We are given experiences to know the truth of beginnings, middles and ends on our life journey.
Truth may come in our vulnerable moments, offering a goal for us to grow toward, slowly or quickly, guiding us to new strength and understanding.
Grief will lie in stillness, until it sees a face peering at it willing to say good bye to the energy of holding, to clear space for the energy of new unfolding.
There is a time when grief waits so what is of necessity may occur. And there is a time when grief speaks, saying, "Allow me, for I am part of God’s healing."
There are levels of truth in living. We enter one, to find there is another truer. We cannot know all, but we can go forward with faith, compassion, and courage.
My realization is, "For some, spirit communication is possible, lengthening the link between us on earth with those in spirit who are able to communicate through the levels of separation between life and physical death."
~ Love ~
When we see through our hearts, art comes in many forms, and words written with a feeling of "love" are Love in the form of art—whether from a beginning writer, an aging one, or an artist of the highest accomplishment. Art may be found in everyone’s expression.
There is a wealth we do not know of that exceeds our efforts. I call this source the “Father” or “God.” When help is truly needed, it is given.
It might take us years to discover our gift. But when we do, the results are wonderful. And it’s good to treat ourselves, even if, at times, it empties our wallet.
Our place in creation brings us the serious and the playful of the vast information that is in us and surrounding us as we are part of the All.
We come into our lives with karma, action from past lives that will create reaction in this life. What we believe is our choice may be a necessary spiritual lesson for our highest good.
There are times to put ourselves at the mercy of a greater guidance in the daily doings of our lives.
~ Personal Growth ~
It is more helpful to perceive than to judge. Keeping an open mind widens opportunities for surprise and understanding.
May we look at our own faults instead of the faults of others. If a mistake is made, a good response offers understanding that may be remembered a lifetime.
Answers surround us when we live with open eyes, open minds and hearts and are willing to learn.
During our different dream states we have experiences that in some manner bear upon our journey and growth. It is helpful to be open to what can be gleaned from any captured memories.
As children, we need to rely on being protected until capable of defending ourselves. As adults, matured with that ability, we shield ourselves by an inner self that is awake and alert when we feel threatened.
Truth can be found in simple words of every day speech; it does not have to come in a lecture or a book. “What goes around, comes around.” If we are aware, we will recognize ourselves for what we have judged in others.
Sometimes, we have to think about our balance, whether outer or inner, when we have less control. It is good to have a quieting practice to put into use then.
~ Relationships ~
God is everyone and everything. We see and name the world according to our experience and knowledge and encounter people and situation only when we are ready.
God is everything, even the ant and the sparrow. Nature offers many nurturing opportunities to enjoy.
All nature may be imbued with human feelings that reflect back to the giver, so there is both giving and receiving in natural harmony between humanity and nature.
We may see without thinking and describe in a way our society sees, or we may see with our minds and hearts open to naming that praises and uplifts.
We live the reality we know, the body, permeated with the reality we don’t know, the spirit. What appears real, the body, isn’t; but spirit invisibly is.
~ Spiritual Self ~
When we call out sincerely to God, we will receive a reply, in some way. There are those around us who do well in silence, whom we may observe in learning.
Becoming aware of the Oneness of life brings us new information in novel ways.
I am a soul in reality. Learning may come in negative ways, as well as positive.
When it is time for each of us to experience aspects of the spiritual journey, we will have experiences we cannot measure in the material world. Amusing circumstances may gently invite us into new considerations.
There is what is real, as love and joy and what is unreal, as the world. My awareness allows me to know both the truth and still be present in the world.
We have unlimited opportunity to watch and keep our focus where we want our lives to increase in abundance.
It is not the size of what we offer in life (small or large), or how we serve (closely or expansively), it is whether or not our offering and our service come from our hearts.
The ways of prayer, while formed into different patterns, are numberless as every moment’s movement with a thought of God is prayer.
My realization is, "In a spiritual life, the size of the job isn’t what matters; it’s the source for it—that source being God working through each one of us."
