On My Walk This Morning… June 8, 2024
Tiny petals
scattered suns
a patch of newly
mown grass
alternating lighter
darker greens
daily notes
I write in thought
passing
In the pink
blossoms
of rhododendrons
the tiny bee
above
the blue sky
I reach
to touch
it
“Around us, life bursts forth with miracles—a ray of sunshine,
a leaf, a caterpillar... raindrops. If you live in awareness, it is easy
to see miracles everywhere.”*
“When you walk and you are 100 percent concentrated, the joy you
get from the steps you are taking is much greater than the joy you
would get without concentration.”*
My realization is, “To walk in awareness may come naturally, or it may come by a conscious choice. It is an alternative to focusing on the purpose, the direction, the progress, and the arrival at a destination—awareness lives in the moment.”
